AirLaundry

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated October 17, 2026

Who we are

AirLaundry is operated by Ownership Code LLC (“AirLaundry,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit airlaundry.ai, join a waitlist, create an account, buy machines, apply to host, or otherwise use our services (the “Service”). It is part of our Terms of Service.

What we collect

Information you give us.

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number, from a waitlist form, sign-up or an application.
  • Waitlist answers: such as whether you want to own machines or host them, how much you might deploy, how you would fund it, and your store’s location and size.
  • Purchase information: the machines and packages you choose, the name you buy under (you or your company), the agreements you sign and your signatures, and records of deposits, payments, refunds and payouts.
  • Host information: your business’s legal name and your title, the store’s address, premises and lease, machine counts, payment system, cycles per day and prices, any lender and its consent, the documents you upload as proof, and tax forms such as a W-9.
  • Payment details: card, bank and pay-later details for deposits are entered into and held by Stripe, our payment processor, or by the pay-later provider you choose at checkout, such as Klarna or Affirm. We receive confirmation of the payment and the method used, never your card or account number. For bank transfers we keep the amount, date and reference.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, text or through the Service.

Information collected automatically.

  • Technical data our servers and providers log when you use the Service, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and timestamps, used to run and secure the Service.
  • The page and link that brought you to a waitlist form, including any campaign tags in the address, so we know which channels people come from.
  • Cookies that keep you signed in and that our payment processor uses to prevent fraud. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on the Service.

Information from others. If you sign in through another account where that is offered, we receive the name and email address it shares. Hosts report what each machine earns, which becomes part of the statements we prepare for that machine’s owner.

How we use it

  • To create and run your account, and to show you stores, packages and the terms for each.
  • To carry out purchases: preparing agreements for signature, taking deposits, holding money in escrow, issuing refunds, and preparing statements, invoices and payouts.
  • To review host applications and set up stores.
  • To contact you about your account, purchases and the stores you are involved with, and, where you have agreed, about AirLaundry machines, store openings and offers.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the Service secure, enforce our terms, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To understand interest in AirLaundry and improve the Service.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • With the other side of your transaction. A buyer’s name, the entity they buy under, their contact details and signed agreements go to the host of that store; a host’s business and store details go to the buyers and owners of its machines. Each needs them to carry out the agreements.
  • With service providers who work for us under contract and may use the information only to provide their service: Clerk (accounts and sign-in), Convex (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments, and the pay-later providers such as Klarna or Affirm you may choose at checkout), zSign (electronic signatures and the emails that carry them), and GoHighLevel (our contact list, email and text messaging).
  • For legal reasons: to comply with law, a subpoena or court order; to protect the rights, property or safety of AirLaundry, our users or others; and to investigate fraud.
  • In a business transfer: if AirLaundry or Ownership Code LLC is merged, acquired or sells its assets, your information may pass to the new owner, which must honor this policy for information collected under it.
  • With your consent, or at your direction.

We may share information that is aggregated or de-identified, such as store-level totals, which does not identify you.

Text messages

We text you only if you tick the box agreeing to it. Texts are about AirLaundry machines, store openings and offers, and may be sent by automated means. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of a purchase.

We keep a record of your agreement: when you gave it, the number it covers and the exact words you agreed to. If you change your number, the agreement does not carry over to the new one.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.

Emails

We email you about your account, purchases, agreements to sign and statements; these are part of the Service. If you joined a waitlist or signed up, we may also email you news and offers from AirLaundry. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop the emails your account and purchases require.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. If you close it, we keep your name and email address with the records of any purchases, agreements and payouts you were part of. We keep records of purchases, agreements, payments, statements and payouts for as long as the agreements run and then for as long as tax, accounting and legal obligations require, generally at least seven years. Waitlist and contact details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Deleted information may remain in backups for a limited time.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information, and limit access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your information, except what we must keep to carry out signed agreements or meet legal obligations; and
  • stop sending you marketing emails or texts.

Residents of California and other states with consumer privacy laws may have these rights by law, along with the right to appeal our decision on a request. To make a request, or to appeal, email hello@air-laundry.com from the address on your account. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and will answer within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent, who must show us your written permission. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where your information is kept

AirLaundry is a U.S. service, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be handled under U.S. law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for a material change, tell you by email or in your account before it takes effect.
